Early face-replacement planning brought the creative requirement, photographed performance and emerging techniques into the same conversation.
My part
I worked with production VFX Producer Lisa Marra and VFX Supervisor Swen Gillberg during early planning around face-replacement work. Together we worked through practical questions about performance capture, reference material, scans and the relationship between principal and stunt performances.
Why it mattered
The work drew on conventional visual effects and RSP's growing machine-learning capabilities. My contribution was helping translate the creative requirement into questions the production and specialist teams could work through before the approach was fixed.
