Across ten episodes, RSP delivered more than 40 VFX sequences including the Bebop, Swordfish II, a mostly-CG flight through Venus, Las Venus casino, the Astral Gate, space work and bespoke effects.
My part
I took on producing RSP’s work through an established client relationship. Working with the client and RSP’s team, I reassessed the scope, worked through the bid and production approach, and helped establish a practical way of collaborating across our sister companies.
Why it mattered
The working relationship became an important precursor to later Netflix work, including One Piece. The lasting value was not only the delivered sequences, but a production relationship able to continue across different shows and team structures.
